The Guv'nor Frozen 50 takes place on December 6, 2025 at Governor Dodge State Park, Twin Valley Picnic Area, Dodgeville, WI. Distances offered are:

- 25K
- 15K
Parking requires a park pass; self-service kiosks are available at the ranger station for daily passes. The event is held in winter conditions; hunting is in progress during the event and participants are asked to wear highly visible orange clothing. Event and medical personnel may remove participants from the course if they deem it unsafe. Severe weather, trail damage, or unsafe conditions may lead to cancellation or course changes.
Courses, aid and rules
The courses use a mix of horse trail, dirt single and double track, and prairie path. Key course details:
- 50K: two loops, about 31 miles, approx. 4,400 ft elevation gain, 7 aid stations (Mile 4.3, 8.3, 12.2, 15.8, 19.2, 23.1, 27.1), drop bag tent at Twin Valley. Course cutoff: 9 hours.
- 25K: one loop, 15.8 miles, approx. 2,200 ft elevation gain, 3 aid stations.
- 15K: one loop, about 9.1 miles, approx. 1,250 ft elevation gain, 1 aid station.
Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolytes, snacks and some hot options at specified stations. The event is cup-less; participants must carry their own hydration vessel. Crewing and pacers are allowed for the 50K only at designated aid stations. All routes are marked with orange flags, arrows and tape. Littering or cutting the course may result in disqualification.
