The Harvey Run

The Harvey Run 5K is a community race held in Burnsville, Mississippi, organized by the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce to honor Harvey Pendergrast, who started the event more than thirty years ago. The race takes place at Burnsville City Hall, located at 38 Grove Avenue. It features a standard 5K run with awards for overall top male and female finishers, a wheelchair finisher, and multiple age-group divisions.

After the run, the Waterway Festival unfolds behind City Hall, offering all-day live entertainment, local food and craft vendors, kids’ activities, bingo, and a large car show, along with the Buckin on the Bigbee rodeo.
