The Inferno Endurance Run
The Inferno Endurance Run is an endurance running event held at Jesse Helms Park in Monroe, North Carolina. Participants run on a 3.7-mile loop featuring mixed terrain including paved walkways, gravel, grass paths, and some single-track sections. The course is mostly flat with about 250 feet of elevation gain per loop and offers a mix of sun-exposed and shaded areas.
The race challenges runners to endure the intense North Carolina summer heat, with options to run for either 4 or 8 hours, completing as many laps as possible. Aid stations provide hydration, fuel, and light food. Awards and participation gear are given to all runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
