The Ivy Trek Ultra
The Ivy Trek Ultra is a challenging trail running event held at Clarkco State Park in Quitman, Mississippi. Featuring a 7.78-mile loop course with a mix of double and single track trails, runners enjoy scenic views of Ivy Lake, bridges, and the notable Gold Fish Pond. The race offers three distances: 50K (four loops), 25K (two loops), and 12.5K (one loop).
The terrain is deceptively hilly but the trails are well-maintained and easy to navigate. Participants can camp on-site with options for cabins, camper pads, and primitive camping. Aid stations provide water and sports drinks, and RFID chip timing tracks runners' splits.
