The Jack Walsh Great Pumpkin 5K Race and Family Fun Walk
The event takes place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Watchung Lake (Phillips Field / Mobus Field), Brookdale Road, Watchung, NJ 07069. The program includes a certified 5K run, a 1 Mile Harvest Festival Fun Fitness Walk, multiple family fun walk entries for adults and for children, and a virtual walk or run option.

Entry, eligibility, and beneficiaries
Event registration lists fees for each entry: the certified 5K is $25, adult family walks are $15, kids 14 and under walks are $5, and the virtual walk or run is $15. Adult walk entries are open to ages 15 to 99; kids walk entries are open to ages 4 to 14. Some events include a long sleeve t-shirt. Registration closes on October 18, 2025, and race pricing increases after October 5, 2025. Proceeds support the Watchung Hills Regional Municipal Alliance (WHRMA), a volunteer organization focused on the consequences of substance use in Warren Township, Watchung Borough, Long Hill Township, and Green Brook Township.
