Event
The Joyce Allen Great Turkey Escape is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Redding, CT. The event program includes:
- 5K run or walk
- 1K Kids Fun Run
- Virtual 5K or 1K
Participants receive event apparel and awards, including a long sleeve tech shirt, an embroidered winter beanie, embroidered running gloves, a finisher's medal, and age-group awards (three-deep, five-year age bands). All proceeds will be donated to the race beneficiaries. The Joyce Allen Charitable Trust will match donations made by the race and its runners to the race beneficiary.
Location and logistics
The race begins and ends at the Redding Community Center, 37 Lonetown Rd (Route 107), Redding, CT 06896. Registration and bag pickup are available the evening before and on the morning of the race at the community center. Results and historical results from past years are maintained for reference.
