About the race
The Manhattanite 10K and 5K is a Riverside Park, Manhattan race. The course weaves along the riverfront with views of greenery and the Hudson, including a segment over the Freedom Tunnel in a 150-year-old park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Each loop is 3.1 miles; the 10K is two laps.
All loops are timed with live splits online; timing devices are placed at U-turns to ensure accuracy, and bib-based timing is required. Water stations every 1.5 miles offer gels and drinks. Finishers receive a high-quality technical shirt, a commemorative medal, a personalized video, and age-group awards are presented in top categories.
