The Observatory Loop Relay

The event takes place on February 26, 2026, as a trail relay at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. It is a 4 x 1 mile relay run on the one-mile Observatory Loop. Teams of two alternate laps, handing off a baton after each lap, so each runner completes two laps with a break between them. The race occurs after dark and runners are required to wear headlamps. The event is open to runners of all ability levels.

Location: Griffith Park, 2333 Fern Dell Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90068. Entrants may register as a team with a partner or register individually and be matched with a partner.
