The Pastry Road Race

The Pastry Road Race takes place in downtown Buford, Georgia, along Main Street (301 E. Main Street). The event offers a flat, fast 5K course through Buford’s streets and a Fun Run, welcoming runners of all ages.

Described as the inaugural race in this series, it combines running with a pastry finish and a Pastry Qualifier, plus a morning of music, door prizes, awards, and food. Proceeds support FundRacers’ Karyn Vecchio Irwin Memorial Scholarship Fund, with preference for education majors, and organizers hope to expand scholarships in 2026.
