The Perogie Dash

The Perogie Dash is a community running event held in Danbury, Connecticut, featuring a 5K run and health walk alongside a 1K Kids Fun Run. Sponsored by Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, the event supports The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children and Families. Participants who pre-register receive a custom-designed T-shirt, and all kids in the fun run earn medals.

The race offers unique prizes, including Matroiska Nesting Dolls for top finishers across various age groups. After the race, a festive party includes Holy Trinity’s famous homemade perogies and, new this year, ice cream from the College Creamery truck, creating a fun and family-friendly atmosphere.
