The Piggyback Dash 10K

The Piggyback Dash is an annual community running event in Union, Missouri, offering 10K, 5K, and a 2K fun run/walk. The rolling course runs through Union and culminates atop Autumn Hill, with aid stations along the way and post-race refreshments. The 10K and 5K start together; the 5K is a single loop, while the 10K adds about three extra miles.

A unique feature lets runners piggyback a partner up Autumn Hill to the finish for extra finisher swag, completely voluntary. Proceeds benefit The Lance Purschke Memorial Scholarship Fund; medals are awarded for top finishers and age groups.
