About the race
The Race 2025 is held in East Point, Georgia (near Atlanta), offering The Race Half Marathon and The Race 5K, with virtual options for both distances. The event centers on endurance and community, aiming to empower Black runners, uplift Black-owned businesses, and support local charities through The Race Foundation’s Charitable Impact Fund. The weekend features a live expo, packet pickup, and a Community Impact Service Day, plus a post-event Day Party.
In-person participants receive a shirt, medallion, bib, and patch; races are chip-timed and include a CISD patch. Virtual participants get shipped packets and digital results.
