About the race
The Refuge Run is a fundraising 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Run held in downtown Philadelphia, Mississippi, as part of The Ham Jam Arts Festival to support The Refuge of MS, Inc., a nonprofit serving adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities. All proceeds fund an accessible van for the program. The course starts at court square and finishes in Cadence Bank Parking Lot, with a new route designed for safety.
Prizes include cash for top male/female finishers and handmade medals for top finishers in each age group; shirts are provided to participants. Online registration ends Oct 10; onsite options are available. Entry is $35 online ($39.61 with fees) or $35 onsite without guaranteed shirt.
