The Robert Van Tassel “Live the Dash” Memorial 5k
The Robert Van Tassel “Live the Dash” Memorial 5k is an annual run/walk event held in Chelsea, NY, within the town of Wappingers. The race starts and finishes at the Chelsea Fire Company station on Liberty Street and features a scenic course along the Hudson River. In addition to the 5k, there is a kids' 1-mile race.
The event benefits the Chelsea Fire Company and the Robert Van Tassel “Live the Dash” scholarship, awarded to two Beacon High School seniors demonstrating sportsmanship, integrity, and dedication to running.
