The Rut Mountain Runs

The Rut Mountain Runs is a three-day mountain running event held at Big Sky Resort in Montana, scheduled for September 12-14, 2025. It features a variety of race distances including a 50K, 28K, 21K, 11K, and the Lone Peak Vertical Kilometer, as well as a Kids 1K Runt Run. A special Trifecta challenge combines the 50K, 28K, and Vertical Kilometer races.

The event celebrates mountain running with challenging courses set in the scenic mountainous terrain of Big Sky.
