The Sprouty

The Sprouty is an annual running event held in Sharon, Vermont, featuring a 5K walk/run and a 10K race along the scenic White River. Now in its 15th year, the race supports the Farm-to-School program at Sharon Elementary School, promoting community health and local agriculture. The event welcomes runners of all levels, including a fun-run loop for children 12 and under, who can participate for free.

Prizes are awarded to the top finishers in both distances, and all participants receive free lettuce plants from a local farm.
