The Swamp Fox Ultra

The Swamp Fox Ultra, presented by Billy Simons Real Estate and The Foot Store, unfolds in the Francis Marion National Forest, with Buck Hall Recreation Area in McClellanville, SC as the start/finish. Distances: 100 miles, 50 miles, 50K, half marathon, and 10K. The course is an out-and-back across the forest via the Awendaw and Swamp Fox Passages, with flat, runnable trails—mostly single/double-track, some fire roads and boardwalks, mostly shaded with occasional wetlands.

It features four aid stations plus water drops, a cupless policy, and gear checks for 100 miles, plus optional tracking. The Swamp Series crowns top finishers with a 100-mile buckle.
