About the race
The Tennessee Mile takes place on private land near Franklin, Tennessee, about 20 minutes from downtown. Dubbed the Toughest Little Mile in Tennessee, this looped ultramarathon features a 1.1-mile course with about 340 feet of elevation gain, two steep climbs, and runnable sections before a field descent to the start. Runners log as many loops as possible within a total time, with no per-loop time limit, with divisions from 3 hours up to 40 hours, plus a Midnight 8-hour night option and a Youth 5K.
The event offers camping gear rentals and requires competitors to provide their own nutrition; pets aren’t allowed, and refunds are not offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
