The Ultimate SUCK : overview
The event takes place Friday to Sunday, September 4–6, 2026, at the Decker Farm in Cuba, Illinois (22721 North Polecat Road, Cuba, IL 61427). It is an endurance event with multiple timed formats that combine farm tasks, trail running, strongman-style work, and military-style challenges. Tasks may include carrying hay or logs, lifting and chopping wood, shooting a shotgun, and exposure to pepper spray as possibilities. Base camp is a tent area in a hay field; RVs and buses are not allowed. Participants are not allowed to sleep once their event begins.

- 36 hour event
- 12 hour event
- 4 hour event (called The GUT CHECK)
Published entry prices are $399 for the 36 hour, $219 for the 12 hour, and $129 for the 4 hour. Events are open to ages 18 to 80. Some items are required gear and may be event-specific, for example a ruck sack/backpack, hydration pack, headlamp, safety glasses, emergency blanket, reflective vest, and specific items for longer events such as a splitting axe and a military duffle bag filled to a weight. Crews and pacers are not allowed on course until after hour 24; after that time one pacer is allowed for the final 12 hours and may not assist on course beyond the participant campsite.
