The Westside Way 10k

The Westside Way is the 35th annual 5K/10K road race held at Wilmington’s Riverfront (Hare Pavilion, River Place). The out-and-back course runs along the Riverwalk through scenic wetlands, offering two distances: 5K and 10K. The event uses chip timing, with awards for overall top finishers and age groups.

A post-race party features snacks and beverages, and early registrants receive a commemorative long-sleeve shirt. Free parking is available around the Riverfront. The event also supports fundraising for Westside Family Healthcare and welcomes walkers and families with a children’s option, creating a family-friendly atmosphere.
