The Wurst Race

The Wurst Race is a 5K run/walk held annually in Evansville, Indiana, starting and finishing at Germania Maennerchor located at 916 N. Fulton Ave. The course is an out-and-back route along Maryland Street to the Greenway Passage and back.

The event offers a festive atmosphere with beer, brats, and water available at the finish line, with a limit of two beers per participant aged 21 and over. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and top finishers in various age groups. The race takes place rain or shine and benefits Germania Maennerchor.
