ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot

ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot takes place in Austin, Texas. The event offers multiple distance options: a timed 5 Mile Run/Walk; an untimed 5-Mile Run/Walk; a 1-Mile Run/Walk; and the Stepping Stone School Kids K (1K Walk/Run). Virtual versions of the 5 Mile and 1 Mile are also available.

In 2025, the race celebrates its 35th anniversary and emphasizes community support through sponsors, runners, and volunteers, with proceeds benefiting Caritas of Austin to combat homelessness. It draws a family-friendly, community-focused crowd of runners, walkers, and kids and welcomes volunteers and sponsors to participate in the mission. It takes place on Thanksgiving Day.
