Tidewater Striders Scholarship 5K

The Tidewater Striders Scholarship 5K & Kids Mile is an annual running event held at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. Scheduled for July 29, 2025, the event features a 5K run/walk, a competitive walking division, and a kids' mile, catering to participants of all ages. Runners can choose between options that include a race shirt and raffle tickets.

The course loops around the Sportsplex, finishing inside the venue. An after-party will follow the race, featuring food, drinks, and a raffle with over $10,000 in prizes.
