Tidewater Striders Scholarship 5K

The Tidewater Striders Scholarship 5K & Kids Mile is an annual running event held at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. Scheduled for July 29, 2025, the event features multiple categories, including a 5K run/walk with options for participants to receive a race shirt and raffle tickets. There is also a competitive walking division and a kids' mile for younger participants.

The course includes a loop around the Sportsplex and surrounding trails, culminating in an after-party with food, drinks, and a raffle offering over $10,000 in prizes.
