The TimberRidge Adventure Race takes place on September 12, 2026, at 11670 S Homestead Lane, Olathe, KS 66061. The event offers multiple race options:

Course format and logistics

The venue includes hundreds of acres of hiking and biking trails and prairie grasslands. The 2-hour event is trekking only and requires about 6-8 miles of walking on paved trails, through brush and trees, and possibly through water. The 6-hour event combines trekking, mountain biking, paddling, and orienteering, with expected distances of 20+ miles of biking, 10 miles of hiking, and 1-2 miles of paddling. Checkpoints will be marked on pre-plotted topographic maps; participants should understand basic terrain features and distance measurement. Maps are distributed at packet pickup on race morning. Several checkpoints are mandatory (transition areas) but most are optional; teams may skip checkpoints and still record an official finish. The event is self-supported, so teams carry their own water, food, first aid, and other gear. The 2-hour team event is part of the Kansas City Corporate Challenge Fall Series.
