Timberview Trail Run (June 27, 2026)
The Timberview Trail Run returns to Lory State Park in Bellvue, Colorado on June 27, 2026. This is the 7th annual running of the event. The race offers three distances:
- 10 mile - double loop of the 5 mile course
- 5 mile - more technical trails with greater elevation gain
- 5K - an easier, beginner-friendly trail route
The event is USATF sanctioned and designated a 100% plant based event.
Course, logistics and registration
Courses run on dirt trails through foothills with views of Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins and the surrounding foothills. Aid stations on all distances provide water, fuel and electrolyte drink in 100% biodegradable cups; dog water bowls are also available at aid stations. Alternate wet-weather course maps are available for all distances.
Venue address is Lory State Park, 708 N Co Rd 25G, Bellvue, CO 80512. Parking can be limited and a parking pass is required; organizers advise carpooling and note no parking on the west side of Lodgepole Rd. Bib pickup is available the Friday before the race at Runners Roost Fort Collins and on race morning; photo ID is required for pickup per USATF rules.
Registration fees vary by date. Price ranges listed are: 10 mile $50–$70, 5 mile $35–$60, 5K $25–$45. Every registered athlete receives an event shirt, finisher medal, race bib, free event photos, post-race food and professional chip timing. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
