About the race
Timberview Trail Run is held at Lory State Park in Bellvue, Colorado, just outside Fort Collins. The event offers three distances: 5K, 5 Mile, and 10 Mile (the 10M is a double loop of the 5M). Runners traverse scenic forest trails with views of Horsetooth Reservoir and the foothills; the 5K is beginner-friendly, while the 5M adds technical sections and elevation.
The race atmosphere is described as low-key and grassroots, with volunteers, aid stations (including dog water bowls), and post-race pancakes. It’s a 100% plant-based, USATF-sanctioned event, offering shirts, finisher medals, chip timing, photos, and post-race food, plus crowd support.
