The Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k in Austin, TX is scheduled for May 24, 2026. The event group includes the following race options:
- Kid's Dash (untimed, ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Volunteer Then Run
- Virtual Run
Entry fees range from $17 to $42. Chip timing and live results are provided for timed events. Pacers will be available for the half marathon. Free event photos and finish-line food are offered. Course materials include maps for the 5k, 10k, and a half marathon course described as a double out-and-back; courses may change due to permit or other restrictions.
Logistics and awards
Race registrants receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal for the half marathon, 10k, and 5k; the 1 Mile and Kid's Dash include a bib, youth shirt, and medal for participants. Youth pricing applies for 5k/10k participants age 12 and under at the lower price tier. Age-group awards (top 3) and overall and masters (40+) awards are offered for the 5k, 10k, and half marathon. Kid's Dash, 1 Mile, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards. The event has a no-refund policy; in some cancellation cases participants may be transferred to the virtual event.
