Tough Mugu

Tough Mugu is a challenging trail running event held at La Jolla Group Campground in Point Mugu State Park, Malibu, California. It features two main distances: a 25k and a 10k course, both showcasing Southern California's stunning coastal mountain trails. The 25k course covers 15.75 miles with 2,427 feet of elevation gain, including scenic views of the Channel Islands and Boney Mountain, while the 10k offers a 6.2-mile route with 1,164 feet of vertical gain along the Ray Miller Trail.

The race includes fully stocked aid stations, handcrafted finisher medals, gender-specific soft shirts, and a festive post-race atmosphere with breakfast, a beer garden, and awards.
