Townsend 15K

The Townsend 15K and 7K is a scenic running event held in Townsend, Tennessee, about 35 miles southeast of Knoxville. Scheduled for September 13, 2025, the race features two distances: a challenging 15K course and a 7K loop, both running on back-country roads near the Little River. The race starts and finishes at Peaceful Side Social, with water stops offering hydration and energy supplements.

Participants receive short-sleeved unisex shirts (while supplies last), and awards are given across various age groups and special categories. Post-race refreshments are provided, and the event supports a team competition with Grand Prix points. Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not permitted on the course.
