Event overview
The Toy Drop takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Loveland, Colorado at 1480 Cascade Ave, 80538. The event offers both in-person and virtual distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
- Virtual 15K
Each in-person race runs through parts of Loveland that have not been highlighted in previous events. Course descriptions note views of the mountains, a lake, a recreation path, and varied scenery along the out-and-back sections. The 15K uses clockwise loops, with the 5K loop followed by the 10K loop. Participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the start line. The event benefits Realities for Children.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, December 6, at Berthoud Brewing in Loveland (off Cascade and Highway 34) from 5:30 to 6:30 pm; race day packet pickup begins at 8:15 am near the finish line at the SCR tent. Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall male and female (top three), masters male and female (top three), and age-division awards (top three) in these groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The 15K awards the top three overall male and female. Awards include custom-made medals from a local artist and gift cards from local sponsors.
