Trail Prom

Trail Prom is an annual trail running event held at Highland Forest County Park in Fabius, New York, organized by Salt City Trail Racing in partnership with local parks. The 2025 edition features two race options: the Senior Prom, an 8 to 20-mile team race, and the new Junior Prom, a 4 to 10-mile race. The event uses an elimination-style tournament format with two-person teams, either same or mixed gender, or solo runners paired on race day.

The course includes multiple rounds on forested trails, with combined team times determining advancement. The race atmosphere is festive, culminating in a post-race cookout with music and awards for top teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
