Train Run Holiday Special : Asbury Park, NJ
The Train Run Holiday Special takes place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Johnny Mac House of Spirits, 208 Main Street, Asbury Park, NJ 07712. The event fee is $30; the price increases after October 28, 2025. Participants must register by November 26, 2025 to be assured of a shirt and a train ticket. Seats are limited. The event benefits Asbury Park Mount Carmel School.
The event format combines a train ride with a run and a post-run party. Participants receive a Santa hat for the train portion. Runners travel by train from nearby stations and run back to Johnny Mac House of Spirits along boardwalks or streets. The post-run offerings include pizza or an omelette and beer or soda, plus raffles and prize drawings. Due to construction, participants must walk around to the south bound side of the train platform. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
