About the race
Train Run Holiday Special is a community running event in Asbury Park, NJ. It starts at Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits (208 Main Street, across from the train station) and finishes by running back along the boardwalk to Johnny Mac’s, with four routes from 1 mile to 6.5 miles: 1 mile (Bradley Beach via Main Street), 2.6 miles (Bradley Beach via Boardwalk), 4.35 miles (Belmar to Johnny Mac’s), and 6.5 miles (Spring Lake to Johnny Mac’s). The day features a Santa-hat train ride, a post-run party with pizza or omelette and beer or soda, raffles, and prizes.
Proceeds benefit Asbury Park Mount Carmel School. Seats are limited; registration includes a train ticket. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
