Tromptown Marathon
The Tromptown Marathon, held in New York State, offers a challenging and scenic running experience through multiple counties. The marathon course covers four counties, starting near a local school and sharing the first 12.1 miles with the half-marathon route, which itself spans parts of three counties. Both races are loop courses with newly certified routes.
The half-marathon features a long-standing 45-year course that circles a lake and showcases country air and valley views. The marathon includes a notable ascent known as "heartbreak hill" and finishes with panoramic valley vistas before a level final mile in the village. Support stations are available every two miles or less. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
