Charity, entry and awards
Proceeds and all donations from the event go to Healing Transitions. The organization provides peer-based, recovery-oriented services for homeless and underserved individuals with alcoholism and other drug addictions. The program has offered long-term residential services since January 2001 and reports reductions in local homelessness during that period.
Swag includes a race medal and a beer from Trophy Brewing Company; non-alcoholic beverage options are available. Premium poly blend T-shirts are offered for an additional fee at registration. Cash prizes for the top three overall female and male finishers are $100, $75 and $50. Age group award winners receive gift cards from Runologie.
