The Tropical Christmas Wine Run 5k takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Tropical Winery, 2678 US 27 S, Lake Placid, FL 33852. The event includes a chip-timed 5k run/walk. The course map will be posted later. The race is timed and scored by J3 Timing and results are posted online. The charity partner for the event is Nik's Wish.

Registration, awards and logistics
Registration includes a short sleeve red T-shirt (option to upgrade to a long sleeve black shirt for $5), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine glass-shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Age group awards are offered for top three finishers in 10-year divisions (categories listed from 1-9 up to 80 & Over). Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards; winners should check posted results and pick up awards at the registration table. Age group awards are available for pickup one hour after the start of the first wave and only on race day. Packet pickup is on race morning only, beginning one hour before the race. Minors may participate with a discounted registration; minors do not receive the wine glass or a glass of wine. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free. A virtual participation option is available, with either packet pickup or packet shipment for an additional shipping fee. Free race photos will be available for download.
