TROSA Turkey Trot 5K
The TROSA Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 27, 2025 in Durham, North Carolina. The event is the fifth annual running of the race and is presented by Bull City Running Co. The race is a 5K that starts and finishes on TROSA's campus and follows a rolling route around the campus and the Lakewood neighborhoods.
Logistics and race features
Packet pick-up is offered the day before the race at Bull City Running Co. - Downtown and on race day at the TROSA campus. Parking is provided at the M&F Corporate Center, with two shuttles running from the parking site to the TROSA campus; the walk between the parking lot and the campus is about 0.5 mile. All participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt, a finishers medal, chip-timed race results, and post-race refreshments. Cash prizes are listed for overall and masters winners: 1st place men and women $150, 2nd place $100, 3rd place $75, and 1st place masters men and women $100. A course map is available from the organizers. The event is hosted by TROSA, a residential program that provides treatment, vocational training, education, and continuing care to people with substance use disorders.
