About the race
The Tuckahoe Challenge 5K & 1 Mile is the 49th annual running event held at the Tuckahoe Community Center, 71 Columbus Ave, Tuckahoe, NY 10707. It offers a 1-Mile and a 5K race, with a combined “Tuckahoe Challenge” for those who run both. Runners and walkers are welcome, and the event runs rain or shine.
Premium athletic wicking shirts are guaranteed if you register by August 10, and bibs can be personalized if you sign up three weeks in advance. Features include live results, free finish-line photos, and awards for top overall and age-group finishers, fastest local, an adult-child team in the 1 Mile, and the Race Director’s Award for Most Enthusiastic Community Team.
