Event details
The Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa (200 South Denver Ave W, Tulsa, OK 74103). The event is presented by Fleet Feet Tulsa and produced by Golden Driller Racing. Golden Driller Racing is an RRCA registered event management company and carries event insurance; it uses USATF certified courses or sanctions when appropriate.
Courses and logistics
- Fun Run: course equivalent to a 1 mile fun run.
- Original Stair Climb and Run: course equivalent to a 5k.
- Extreme Stair Climb and Run: course estimated equivalent to a 15k.
- Rucker Division: same course as the classic stair climb, participants carry their own weighted backpacks.
Course surfaces include the main concourse, upper levels, interior staircases, and arena bowl trips. Courses will be marked with stanchions, caution tape, and cones, and marshals will be stationed at key locations. The Original Stair Climb will use a three-wave start based on expected 5k finish times (under 30 minutes; 30 to 40 minutes; over 40 minutes). Doors and race-day packet pickup open at 7:00 am in the Grand Lobby of the BOK Center. Street parking and nearby surface lots are available; some surface lots may require payment.
