Race details
The Turkey Scramble 5k course starts at the front of the OC, goes around the OC, proceeds to the Ozark Vo-Tech parking lot and building, follows the Finley River alongside the river up to The OC Trail, and returns to The OC. The finish area is managed by Ridge Runner Sports and Ozark Racing Systems. The course is mostly level with a small slope near the end and provides views of the river and the Ozark business district.
Packet pick-up is available at Hometown Sports in Ozark and also on race morning. Registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt if registered by November 15; Turkey Scramble 5k runners will receive a finisher medal. Age-group awards are given for 1st place across standard age brackets, and overall male and female winners receive a gift card and trophy. The event is chip timed, allows strollers, and permits well-behaved leashed dogs. A portion of proceeds supports local community programs.
