About the race
Turkey Shuffle Houston is a family-friendly race in Sugarland, Texas, held at Oyster Creek Park (4033 State Highway 6 South). The event offers multiple distances: Kids Dash (about 50 meters), 1 mile, 5K (3.1 miles), and 10K (6.22 miles), plus a Volunteer then Run option. The course winds through park and greenbelt areas with mostly paved trails and some mixed surfaces (crushed granite and occasional dirt paths).
The atmosphere features a DJ, live awards, and a post-race rally with snacks. A festive costume contest awards a Biggest Turkey trophy and prize pack.
