The Turkey Trek Daingerfield is a trail race at Daingerfield State Park in Daingerfield, TX on November 27, 2025. Distances offered:

Registration has a 165-person capacity and closes before the event date. A day pass or Texas State Park pass is required for park entry. Parking is available around the lake circle and State Park store.
Course and logistics
The course uses the Rustling Leaf Trail and Mountain View Trail. Surface is dirt single track with rocky and rooty sections. The 5K is one loop; the 10K is two loops. Each 5K loop includes rolling hills and one climb of about 300 ft elevation gain. The race is cupless; participants must bring their own cup or bottle. Aid station hydration and snacks are provided. All finishers receive a custom wood medal and sign-ups receive a Turkey Trek beanie. Awards are given for 1st–3rd place male and female, a 50+ “Old Timer” category for first place, and a “Dead Freakin' Last” award.
