Event overview
The 2025 Turkey Trot takes place on November 22, 2025, in Fairview Park, Decatur, IL (2095 W Eldorado St., Pavilion 1). The event offers multiple in-person and virtual distances:
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
- Half Marathon
- 1/2 Mile Tot Trot (Ages 12 and Under)
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
- Virtual Half Marathon
The Tot Trot includes a T-shirt and participation prizes for ages 12 and under. The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon use computerized results and award three-deep prizes by age group. Everyone who completes the Half Marathon will receive a surprise gift. The race is sponsored by ADM and Fleet Feet Decatur. A Rockwell Coffee Truck will be on site.
Registration and logistics
Standard online entry fees are $35 for 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, and $25 for the Tot Trot. Race-day fees are higher and accepted as cash only. Register by November 2 to guarantee a long-sleeved shirt. Late online registration is available until November 14; after that, in-person registration is handled at the pavilion on race morning. Virtual event registration closes November 18; other event registration closes November 17. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Fairview Park Pavilion #1 on November 21, 2025.
