The Turkey Trot 2025 is set for Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Windom, MN (56101). The event includes a 5K Run/Walk and a Tots Trot - Kids Run. The start and finish are at the main entrance of the local Elementary School at 1400 17th St. Race day registration and packet pick-up will take place inside the elementary school cafeteria/lobby. Parking is available in the school lot, primarily the Middle School lot.
Course, amenities and awards
The 5K route runs through local streets in Windom. Mile markers will be posted along the course and volunteers will be on course. Water is available at a midway station called the Gravy Station. Post-race items at the finish area include refreshments and prize drawings. All finishers receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a turkey leg.
