Tuscobia Winter Ultra

Website

The Tuscobia Winter Ultra is a challenging human-powered winter endurance event held on the Tuscobia and Wild Rivers State Trails in Northern Wisconsin. Participants can choose between an 80-mile one-way course or a 160-mile out-and-back route, with the longer distance serving as a qualifier for the Iditarod Trail Invitational. The event welcomes runners, bikers, and skiers, emphasizing self-sufficiency with required gear and minimal checkpoint support.

Outside assistance is prohibited, though supporting local businesses along the route is encouraged. The course features winter trail and lake sections, offering a rugged and adventurous atmosphere in a remote, snowy environment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
