Event overview
The Two Rivers Marathon Race Festival takes place March 21 and 22, 2026 at Lackawaxen Town Park, 107 Scenic Drive, Lackawaxen, PA. The festival includes the following distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course runs past rivers, bridges and forests. The marathon is a Boston-qualifying course and is certified (Certificate PA21001NP). Mile markers are posted at every mile and the course will have extensive signage at turns.
Course, logistics and amenities
All registrants receive a t-shirt, finisher medal and a pair of running ankle socks. First-time half marathon and marathon finishers receive a plaque. Specialty T-shirts are available for athletes who run two events and for those who achieve a BQ time. Events include aid stations, hydration and post-race food. Saturday marathon and half marathon pace groups are offered (pace range shown by organizers). On Sunday a coffee and donut vendor will be onsite. Finish line photos and live/text/email results are provided.
There is no formal awards ceremony; awards can be picked up after finishing. Awards include top overall and age-group places for male, female and X - non-binary categories. Bib pickup requires knowing the bib number; a self-lookup area is available and bib numbers are communicated by text or email prior to pickup. Parking is available at the fire department paved area and at the Zane Grey Museum lot; side-road parking is restricted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
