Event overview
The Ugly Sweater Run or Walk 5k takes place on December 6, 2025 in Sisters, Oregon. It is the 4th annual themed 5k run or walk where participants are encouraged to wear an Ugly Christmas Sweater. The race start and check in are at Fir Street Park (150 N. Fir St.), and the course finishes at The Barn, which will host the finisher party. A portion of race proceeds will go to Living Well With Dementia and to the Outlaws Downhill Ski Team.

Distances offered:
- 5 km run or walk
- 100 yard kids dash (approximately; for ages 10 and younger)
Online registration is required. The event is chip timed. Teams of six or more qualify for a group discount that is refunded once the team reaches six members. Early check-in is available the day before the race and same-day check-in is available at the race location.
Registration includes event items and services such as a handcrafted finisher medal, a light-up Christmas scarf, holiday glasses, jingle bells for shoes, a custom race bib, a beverage at The Barn, hot chocolate and coffee at the start area, and opportunities to meet Santa on the Red Vespa. Food and drink will also be available for purchase at The Barn. An ugly sweater contest and an ugly sweater contest parade at The Barn are part of the event.
