Event details
The Ugly Sweater Run or Walk 5k takes place on December 6, 2025 in Sisters, Oregon. The race start and check-in are at Fir Street Park (next to The Barn), 150 N. Fir St., and the course finishes at The Barn where a finisher party will be held. The event is chip-timed and online registration is required. A portion of proceeds will go to Living Well With Dementia and the Outlaws Downhill Ski Team. Early check-in is available the day before the race.

General entry fees listed on the event page show a standard 5k fee of $29, a youth 5k fee of $20, and a free kids dash. Price increases are noted on the event page for later registration periods. Teams of six or more receive a group discount that is refunded once the team reaches six members.
Registered participants receive event items including a Christmas beanie, a hand-crafted medal, holiday glasses, jingle bells for shoes, a custom race bib, and access to hot chocolate and coffee at the start. Food and drink are available for purchase at The Barn. An ugly sweater contest and a sweater parade at The Barn are part of the event, and Santa will appear on a red Vespa.
