United Way of Fairfield County 5K Run

About the race

United Way of Fairfield County hosts its annual 5K Run and 2 Mile Fun Walk at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds in Lancaster. Since 1997 this community event draws several hundred participants to a closed 5K course, with civilian and military/veteran options. The program also includes a 2-mile fun walk.

Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K, and a Traveling Participation Trophy honors the company with the largest turnout.
