Up and Running 5K

The Up and Running 4th of July 5K is an annual running event held in El Paso, Texas, celebrating its 19th edition in 2025. The race covers a 5-kilometer distance and starts near Up and Running at 3233 N. Mesa.

Participants receive a technical t-shirt if they register early, with awards given to the top three male and female finishers as well as age group categories ranging from 9 and under to 70 and over. Post-race refreshments include hot dogs and watermelon. The event supports Run El Paso, a nonprofit promoting community health and fitness through running and related activities.
