Event details
The Medal Madness event takes place on May 30, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC (9300 Deponie Dr, 27614). The event includes the following race distances:
- 5K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A course time limit of 3:00 hours is specified.
Course and logistics
Both courses are concrete and use out-and-back loops. The 5K uses a 0.78 mile out-and-back segment repeated twice. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile out-and-back segment repeated six times. Parking is located at the playground on the north side of the park. Bathrooms are located by the playground. The event lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, and awards.
