Event details
The Medal Madness event takes place on August 29, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC (9300 Deponie Dr, 27614). The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- Half Marathon
All participants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. A course time limit of 3:00 hours is in place. Finisher medals are provided. A shirt and gear shop, awards, series points, and a best costume category are part of the event program.
Course and logistics
The courses are on concrete surfaces and use out-and-back loops. The 5K uses a 0.78 mile out-and-back section (1.56 miles total per lap) repeated two times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile out-and-back section (2.18 miles total per lap) repeated six times. Parking is located at the playground on the north side of the park.
