The Pirate 5K & Half Marathon takes place on April 18, 2026, at Halyburton Park in Wilmington, NC (4099 S 17th St, ZIP 28412). The event includes the following distances:

Registration is available through RunSignup only; there is no on-site registration. A finisher medal is offered and there are shirt and gear options, a best costume category, series points, and awards listed by the organizer.
Course and logistics
The course is paved and described as an out-and-back configuration. The 5K uses an out-and-back segment that is listed as 0.78 miles (the out-and-back is 1.56 miles and the 5K repeats that segment twice). The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment listed as 1.09 miles (the out-and-back is 2.18 miles and the half repeats that segment six times). A course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. Attendees are directed to park at the Lowell Riverfront Dog Park.
